Brief: Thundra Kegbrand is a full-figured, dark haired, and bronze skin Gold Dwarf warmaiden whose eye is darkened by paint and gazes steely over the plains of the western frontier. On her mount, a dire boar she has named Steadman, Thundra is known to either ride past with her short saber drawn, cutting through the ranks of Ghostwise Halflings. She is also known to draw her axe Headsman and lunge from either side, cleaving enemies in twain, perhaps not the most prudent, but it has certainly scared the toughest Halfling brave. She command over a dozen or so Dwarven mounted troops known as 'Kegbrand's Outriders.'
Other Notes Include:
-The Outriders are stationed on the Western Frontier where the continent meets Scarabae. They are contracted by the nearby city of Rothport to help supplement the meager roving guard that helps protect Rothport and the outlying farm in the region. Their main foes include wild dire creatures, the occasional troll incursion, and frequent Ghostwise raids that seek to drive out all colonists from the frontier.
-She has a very blunt style in her fighting due to a sense of overconfidence. Her first major fight pitted her with a powerful and wily chieftain of one of the Ghostwise tribes. Terminus was known for his filed down teeth and wild eyes, his love of dining on flesh was told in lurid detail by bards. She met Terminus on the field and slew him. To this day her strategy has been to dive in and strike hard into the enemy, that's why she dire boars and barding for her Dwarven cavalry.
-As an ally Thundra is interested in recruiting non-Dwarves for roles that not many Dwarves are interested in. She wants to have scouts, magic-users, and healers. Those who prove themselves to her can expect her thanks, loyalty, and spoils in the form of hard currency from Rothwell's coffers, food, and magical items crafted by the Ghostwise's shamans.
-As an rival Thundra doesn't mind the competition. She does have a sharp tongue, and doesn't mind to sing the praises of her band against some rival's group. She does back her word, it isn't all pure arrogance. If someone she respects offers a challenge, she will take it- even some risky assignments. She will be offended by outright suicide missions... that is, unless the rivals are willing to go along too.
-As an Enemy if the party is sympathetic to the Ghostwise, are either wrongfully or rightfully accused of a crime on the frontier, or something in between. They will find a determined, but perhaps not quite creative commander. Her outriders are tough cavalry men who combine melee combat and range fighting with the use of their horse pistols and carbines over full rifles. She might use similar tactics a few times, but she will change her strategy overtime depending on situation.
